A cook sets out to boil rice, he/she puts the rice in the pot with water and sets it on the cooker. A farmer plant corn in his farm after treating the soil, then he/she waters the plants and makes sure he keeps it clean from weed invasion. A driver sets out to travel from his house to another location he has all the fuel he needs in his car, he knows the way he has to take; so he drives away from home. A woman is pregnant with a baby she eats well and does everything that is necessary to the excellent development of the baby so everything is great. In all these scenarios, one thing is evident. the cook has to now wait for the rice to get cooked, the farmer has to wait for his crop to mature, the driver has to wait the time necessary to arrive at his destination. Then the woman has to wait nine months for the baby to grow. Hence time is not just the movement of seconds that add up to minutes or minutes that add up to hours and weeks and months to years. Actually, time is like an ingredient that is needed in the process of everything. In other words, when the farmer plans corn in his farm he doesn't just invest land, water, fertilizers and corn grains; he also invests the amount of time needed for that corn to mature. the need for time is so crucial that if you try to shorten the time you will not get the required or expected results you are looking for. Also if you try to increase the time you will still not be able to get a better result. this issue is so crucial that even when God came to promise Sarah a child, he could not change the time timing of the baby to meet the urgency of Abraham and Sarah's desperation. Because if God wants to give you a child after waiting until 90 like Sarah, you might say; make it urgent like four months. but God said according to the time of life you will have a son. Meaning even God cannot change the time that is needed to be invested to get the required results for that investment. In fact, if the timing is tampered with, all the investment could end as waste. I know some guys want to beat the google map timing, but they soon realize they cant really reduce it. plus you could get yourself killed.
That is why when Jesus was exalting the church he said those who wait till the end will get the reward. why till the end? Because if you stop halfway to your destination no one will give you a prize. Only runners who cross the finish line ever have the chance to get the prize. some who cross the finish do not even qualify for the prize so who then will give a price to someone who didn't even cross the finish line. So, therefore, take the exaltation of Jesus and occupy till he comes because if your car is heading in the right direction, all you need do is meet the time demand and you will arrive your destination. If God says Occupy till i come, do it. don't let quitting before time be the thing that destroys God's plan for your life. God bless
