When you say to a Christian who has suffered from Lyme for more than two years that you want to pray for them and that they should believe God for instant healing. They listen to what you say and consider all the pain they have suffered that made them question their faith and the possibility of their healing. They look at how many times they've asked for prayers until asking for prayers has just become what they have to do because they are Christians. Even though they have lost faith in prayers, they ask anyway. At the peak of the pain, conclusions come to mind. Maybe this is my thorn in the flesh or maybe God will heal me when I go to heaven. If you are at that point know that this word is for you. Hannah was not sick but she was barren she had gotten married many years before her husband decided to marry Peninnah to make up for the fact that she couldn't have a child. Then before her eyes, Peninnah gave birth to many children but she was still barren and watching. Then to make matters worse Peninnah was using her children to abuse her like some people will add your pain by abusing your condition. Despite all that pain and frustration, there is something Hannah didn't let go. Hannah didn't let go the possibility of her being able to carry her own child. She didn't say when I go to heaven I will bear a child. she kept her expectation even in her crying. It is written the expectations of the righteous shall not be cut short. But what if you by the time God comes there is no more expectation left? At this level, I hear the voice of David saying except I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living I would have died. It means David would have died if he didn't believe. So, I will ask you a question. Do you still believe so see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living?
We know you have gone through hell but where is that person who still wants to live. where is that person who says I know this thing has lingered more than I ever thought but I refuse to give up expectation I will live? so do you see yourself living after Lyme or do you see Lyme as your end? It is that small spark of belief left after the storm that Jesus called the mustard seed kind of Faith. As you prepare for this program you must build expectation
